Back in December of 1992 I was given the opportunity to be a guest of the Guatemalan air force. I got to see and fly on a couple of aircraft types that have since been retired over the span of 30 years.

I did get a chance to fly on one of the more unique, if maybe a rare bird for me, the Israeli-built Arava transport.

I’ve got alot of old 8mm video to go through, but I’m hoping to get a Youtube video up in the near future with some fascinating perspective and close up action of some of these aircraft.
