After a recent move to the MSP area, I’m now getting a better view of the ongoing integration of KCS and CP railroads.

I’m also getting more familiar with the great passenger facility in St Paul, known as the St Paul Union Depot (SPUD).

I got a brief view of CP 2816, the Empress recently. This weekend I visited SPUD for the annual Train Days event. I got an up close and personal view of the new company livery for CPKC 9375.

I’m not sure I’m sold on this YET. I have too many memories of KCS, but I’ll keep an open mind.
